Atomic force microscopy: detection of discrete steps in force curves, identification of membrane tethers
I have written a Matlab application, afmtether, for the identification of membrane tethers by looking at discrete steps in AFM force curves. The program can be started by typing "afmtether" at the Matlab command prompt. It can read Igor Binary Wave (IBW) files and analyze the curves for the presence of discrete steps using three different approaches:available here.
The program automatically checks for upgrades every time you use it and warns you if an upgrade exists. It will upgrade itself to the latest available release upon clicking on the "Update" button.
